Terms of service.
By acquiring or using Silent, you accept the terms below. Read them. They are short by design.
Use of the loader
Silent is a Windows utility distributed as a single binary. It is sold for personal, lawful use. By acquiring a license you accept full responsibility for how you use it on your own machine.
We reserve the right to revoke any license whose use is determined, in our sole judgment, to be malicious, abusive, or in breach of these terms.
Licensing & hardware binding
Each license is a lifetime, single-machine license. It is bound to the hardware fingerprint of one device upon first use.
- Migration to a different machine requires an administrator-approved HWID reset request from your dashboard.
- Sharing the license with third parties results in immediate, permanent revocation without refund.
- Resale, sublicensing, or republication of the binary is prohibited.
No refunds
All sales are final. Once a key has been issued, the payment is not refundable. If you have any doubt before purchasing, ask in our Discord — proof of functionality can be shown on request.
Confidentiality
We do not advertise customers, share account details, or expose hardware fingerprints to third parties. Records are retained solely for the operation, security, and accounting of the service.
Data we collect
To operate the licensing service and enforce the single-machine binding, we record and retain the following:
- Your username, email and password hash (Argon2id with pepper — the plaintext password is never stored).
- Your IP address on every login, registration, license redeem, HWID reset request and admin action — used for rate limiting, abuse detection and the audit log.
- Your HWID (a SHA-256 hash of your motherboard / CPU / disk identifiers, derived locally by the loader). One HWID is bound to your license; previously seen HWIDs and reset requests are kept for security review.
- Your operating system name and version as reported by the loader on first bind — used to diagnose compatibility issues and detect tampering.
- Your session tokens (hashed) plus user-agent, login timestamps and last-seen timestamps.
- An audit log of authentication events, license operations, HWID changes and admin actions, attached to your user id.
This data is stored on our own server, is never sold, never advertised, and is never handed to third parties except where required by law. By creating an account or using the loader you consent to this collection and retention.
Anti-tamper measures
If the loader detects an attempt to crack, patch, repackage, debug, or otherwise tamper with the binary or bypass the licensing system, it may — at our sole discretion and without prior notice — capture screenshots of the host desktop and transmit them to our server, alongside any relevant diagnostic information (process list, loaded modules, HWID, IP). This evidence is used solely to identify the abuser and to enforce these terms.
By acquiring a license you accept that legitimate use of the loader will never trigger this measure, and that any such capture is the result of an active, deliberate attempt to violate this agreement.
No warranty
Silent is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee any specific outcome, compatibility, or behavior under unforeseen conditions. Use of the software is at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
In no event shall Silent, its developers or its operators be liable for any consequential, incidental, indirect or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the software, including loss of access, data, or accounts.
Account & behavior
- Maintain accurate account information; you alone are responsible for safeguarding your credentials.
- Abuse of support channels, attempts to bypass HWID enforcement, or aggressive social engineering will result in revocation.
- Any use of the loader that, in our judgment, is malicious or harmful to others will result in immediate revocation without refund.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be communicated through the dashboard. Continued use after such notice constitutes acceptance.
